Magical Movements welcomes 2 year-old girls and boys to adults with a wide array of dance classes. Since our grand opening September 2003, students and their families continue to receive unsurpassed treatment. From taking class for fun, fitness, or your future, to a birthday celebration, our pleasant, educated staff will try its best to provide an enjoyable experience. We look forward to meeting you!

Upon entering Magical Movements, there is warm, inviting feeling. The 2,000+ square foot space includes a spacious mirrored dance studio, private dressing room, kitchen, rest rooms, and waiting area - complete with closed circuit television to view classes. Located on the Harrison/Mamaroneck border, we are easily accessible from many Westchester towns and cities. Parking is plentiful, and shops are within walking distance.

Linda Francica, Director

Linda Francica

Linda Francica began her performing arts training at age 7. She studied many dance forms, earned the lead in her elementary school musicals, played the piano, sang solos with the chorus, and choreographed for various school events. Linda continued her studies at Manhattanville College, majoring in Dance and Theatre. She performed in the realm of world-renowned choreographers, and created several pieces of her own. For two years, she was president of the college’s student dance organization, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude. Through the years, Linda has been honored for her achievements in the performing arts. Before opening Magical Movements, Linda worked with children at studios, pre-schools, and artistic programs across Westchester County. Linda danced on MTV’s Direct Effect, studied voice, and appeared in a TV commercial. Her long time dream has come true, and now she can share her love of dance at Magical Movements.

Anna Haven, Instructor

Anna Haven

Anna knew she was going to be a ballet dancer when she saw Swan Lake. It was a momentous decision for a four year-old to make, but it was one she has stood by since. Anna's dance experience began with rigorous ballet training. At 14, Anna became a full scholarship student at Ballet Hispanico. At 16, she auditioned for New York Ballet, and became their youngest soloist with roles specifically choreographed for her in Don Quixote and Les Sylphides. A year later, she was made a soloist with Metropolitan Opera Ballet Company, where she danced for two seasons. She has been teaching at Magical Movements for the past 6 years. Anna also teaches and performs Argentine tango throughout the US.

Megan Lynn, Instructor

Megan Lynn

Megan Lynn began her dance training at age 11 at the Dance Conservatory of Maryland, where she became a soloist with the Harford Ballet Company. In high school, Megan began dancing at the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance, performing principal roles in The Nutcracker and The Maryland Dance Project. She spent her summers training at the Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland, Point Park University’s International Summer Dance, Richmond Ballet, and the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet.

Megan received her BA in Dance Performance/Choreography from Goucher College in 2011. At Goucher, she had the privilege of working with renowned artists including Larry Keigwin, Jennifer Archibald, Christopher Fleming, and Sean Curran, as well as performing in numerous student works. Megan was also a member of the Moving Classroom Project, an outreach program integrating art and academics for Baltimore City elementary schools. She spend the last three years teaching and choreographing for dancers of all ages at the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance. Her works have been presented at Goucher College, Cecil Community College, Baltimore City Public Schools, and the Bel Air Bandshell.

Last summer, Megan studied dance in Brazil with Deborah Colker, Angel Vianna, and the faculty at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Megan recently moved to NYC, where she works as a professional dancer, dance instructor, and personal trainer. She is in the process of forming her own contemporary dance company. Megan is very excited to work with the dancers at Magical Movements!

Erin Pryor, Instructor

Erin Pryor

Erin Pryor's dance training took off at age 3 after trying on a pair of ruby red tap shoes and never wanting to take them off. These ruby red tap shoes lead her to study tap, jazz, and hip-hop for years, along with modern, contemporary/lyrical, and ballet. Erin also enjoyed supporting and lead roles many middle and high school musicals. From these productions, she was invited to perform with her high school theatre group in the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. Currently Erin is a senior at Manhttanville College, where she majors in Dance and Theatre, with a concentration in Dance. She has recently returned from the New York International Exchange in Madrid, Spain, and New York City, with Kazuko Hirabayashi. Erin has also worked with choreographers Ben Munisteri, Bill Hasting, and Peter Pucci. To pass down the knowledge her teachers have given her, Erin has enjoyed teaching children at A Dance Studio and Iona College Day Camp.

Addison Reese, Instructor

Addison Reese

Addison Reese began dancing at the age of 3 in Raleigh, North Carolina. After years of acquiring a strong foundation of Ballet and Jazz dance, she became a performing member of a competitive pre-professional company for over 10 years, under the direction of Christy Curtis. Addison then attended the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College, and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, with a concentration in dance performance. Her performance credits at Purchase College include The Nutcracker, numerous undergraduate works, graduate works, Rise (choreographed by Doug Varone), and Dream Support (choreographed by Wallie Wolfgruber). While attending Purchase College, Addison was awarded the David Falk Scholarship, Robert Weiner Scholarship for Dance, and the Director’s Award.

Other performance experiences include Broadway Series South’s Aida, sight specific work in New York City with the DASH ensemble, and the world premiere of Habiki Hana Ma (choreographed by Luca Veggetti) at the Judson Church in New York City. In addition to dance, Addison also enjoys teaching Hatha yoga, and received her RYT-200 teaching certificate from Birchwood Center for Yoga and Massage. Addison is continuously inspired while teaching and performing all over the United States.

Jennifer Silverman, Instructor

Jennifer Silverman

Jennifer Silverman, a Westchester County native, has been dancing for most of her life. She has studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, and modern. Jennifer also studied the performing arts at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, The Juilliard School, and The University of Miami. She has traveled from coast to coast, performing in such shows as Chicago (Velma Kelly), A Chorus Line (Sheila), Fame (Carman Diaz), Kiss Me Kate (Lois/Bianca), and Cirque Dreams (The Songstress). She has also performed on Celebrity Cruise Lines as a principal singer/dancer.

Jessica Sensi, Assistant

Jessica Sensi

Jessica Sensi began dancing when she was 3 years-old. She started with ballet, went on to study tap and jazz, and finally hip-hop -- her favorite. Jessica has performed in many recitals, as a student and leader. She also participates in talent shows and high school musical theater productions – Annie, Footloose, and Peter Pan. Jessica has been assisting classes and birthday parties at Magical Movements for the last 5 years. She enjoys sharing her love of dance with kids, and kids enjoy being in her presence.
